Eric Peter Leblanc

Eric Peter LeBlanc passed away peacefully surrounded by his family June 16, 2013. Beloved husband of Agnes Torres LeBlanc for 47 years. Loving father of Karla LeBlanc Lucas (Chris), Kelly LeBlanc, Kim North (Michael) and Kerry LeBlanc (the late Ann). Grandfather of Alexander and Emma Lucas, Kevin, Clark and Jordan LeBlanc, and the late Torey Orgeron, Sr. Great grandfather of Devin Laborde, Torey Orgeron, Jr., Taryn LeBlanc and Victoria Orgeron. Brother of Philip LeBlanc, Jr. (Dolores), the late Huey LeBlanc (Dorothy), Murphy LeBlanc (Frances) and Dorothy LeBlanc. Son of the late Agnes St. Pierre LeBlanc and Philip J. LeBlanc. Age, 80 years. A native and resident of Westwego, LA. Mr. LeBlanc was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines and served as a Private First Class in the Korean Conflict. He was a former employee of Avondale Shipyard and retired as a warehouse manager from National Furniture Co. He was also a former president and member of the YMBC and a commissioner of the Westwego Housing Authority.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego, LA. Parlors will be open Thursday from 9 AM until 11 AM.
