Erica Dana Schexnayder passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the age of 32. Beloved daughter of Brenda Boudreaux Landry and Lucien Bernard Schexnayder. Step daughter of Raymond W. Landry and Lila Schexnayder. Loving sister of Christi S. Bucci (Mark). Aunt of Matthew, Katelyn and Anthony Bucci. Granddaughter of Joyce Thibodeaux Boudreaux (late, Eddie, Jr.) and Evelyn and Leonard Schexnayder, Sr. Niece of Glenn Boudreaux, Jane Soslow (Neil), Lynn Demeure (Anthony), David Schexnayder, Sr., Mary Kass (Gregory), Maria Roussel (Greg), and the late Leonard, Jr. and George V. Schexnayder (Rhonda). Also survived by numerous cousins.
The family would like to express a thank you to the Padua Community Services and a special thanks to her caregivers at Padua Community Services Ocean Group Home.
Erica was a special Angel of God, whose journey through life touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed by all. At the family’s request, her body will be donated to science and a private interment will take place at a later date in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA as her final resting place.
