Ermen "E. J." Miller Jr.

Ermen “E. J.” Miller Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Camille “BeBe” Collura Miller. Father of Debra Cross (Charles), Carl Miller (Luisa), and Ermen “E. J.” Miller III (Pallie). Grandfather of Kelly Cross (the late Amie), Cory Cross (Natasha), Courtney Killingsworth (Martin), Brandon Miller, Ryan Miller, Austin Miller, Bobbi Miller, Nicole Miller, and Krista Miller. Great-grandfather of Kelly Jr., Alexis (Luke), Dylan, Cassie, Kolby, Kaitlyn, Kameron, Ryleigh, and Bentley. Great-great-grandfather of Ryder and Camilla. Son of the late Virginia Dugas Miller and Ermen Miller Sr. Brother of Kathleen Calegan (the late Joseph). Brother-in-law of Sandra Collura Lemoine (Dickey), Ferdnand Mariande (the late Caroline), and Anthony “A. J.” Collura. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

E. J. was a native of White Castle, LA and resided in Marrero, LA. He retired from Texberry and served as an usher at Visitation of Our Lady Church in Marrero. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 4222 in Marrero. He enjoyed most sports and never missed a chance to cheer his New Orleans Saints on. He was always willing to lend a hand and never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed.

Friends and relatives are invited to gather at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Boulevard (at Barataria Boulevard) in Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10am to 12noon. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
