Ernest Anthony Thorpe

Ernest Anthony Thorpe, age 81 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Beloved husband of 58 years to Shirley Cozier Thorpe. Beloved and loving father of Rockford Thorpe, Bruce Thorpe, Debbie Thorpe Bergeron and Dale Thorpe. Adored Grandfather of Sean Bergeron, Kristen Bergeron and Chase Bergeron. Loving Great Grandfather of Callie Bergeron and beloved Father-in-law of Judy Pernas Thorpe and Aaron Bergeron and Grandfather-in-law of Angela Skipper Bergeron. He is survived by his only living sister, Maureen Thorpe Wilson. Ernest was a longtime resident of New Orleans for 40 years. He was born in Trinidad, W.I. and was the son of the late Reginald Thorpe and Mary DeFreitas Thorpe. Funeral Services and Internment will be privately held.
