Ernestine Falgout Adams

Ernestine “Tina” Falgout Adams passed away on January 20, 2012 at the age of 89 years. She is a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved wife of the late Joseph “Ike” Adams. Daughter of the late Selma Molaison Falgout Matherne and the late John Falgout. Step-daughter of the late Lenest “Kaiser” Matherne. Sister of Armand, Clifton and Eddie Falgout, the late Clayton and Archie Falgout, Ethel Adams and Viola Bordlee. Loving mother of Vivian Vercher (Joe), Valerie Vercher (George), Vernon Adams (Cindy), Vanessa Lirette (Daniel) and the late Vergus “Butch” Adams (Kathleen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Angela, Nicholas, JoAnn, Joe, Annette, Georgette, Erica, Eric, Kristin, Roy, Morgan and 10 great-grandchildren: Megan, Troy, Ashley, Cody, Logan, Joshua, Shelby, Chasity, Isabella and Luke. The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Bayside Healthcare Center and Amedisys Hospice for the care and compassion given during her illness. Relatives, friends and employees of Midship Marine, #1 Bail Bonds, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Avenue Restaurant & Catering, West Jefferson Medical Center and CN Railroad are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11 AM.
