Ethel Theriot Alleman

Ethel Theriot Alleman went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday January 14, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born on Tuesday, May 7, 1929 in Larose, LA to Elda Barrios Theriot and Lovencie Theriot. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle soft-spoken soul who was always willing to help others in need. She loved caring for children, enjoyed gardening and loved all animals. We will miss her greatly.
She is survived by her four children- Gary (Sharon), Wayne (Debra), Dwight (Rhonda) and Amelia (Barry); nine grandchildren- Ryan, Brandi, Megan, Lauren, Rachel, Jordan, Mia, Anna-Lisa, and Miranda; eight great-grandchildren – Peyton, Timmy, Kayla, Kingsley, Greta, Harper, Corbin and Liza.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Armand Jean Alleman, Jr.; parents Lovencie and Elda Barrios Theriot; brothers, Howard, Tillman, Gillis, Louis (Wiltz), Sydney and Ernest Theriot; sisters, Nora Theriot, Edith Theriot, Lucia Breaux, Jeanne Bailleaux, Anna Ledet; and grandson, Austin.
The family would like to give Special Thanks for the loving care she received from Colonial Oaks Living Center and Hospice Associates.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral mass which will be celebrated in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00-11:00am. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery – Gretna, LA.
