Ethel Rowden Colvin

Ethel Rowden Colvin passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of Floyd V. Colvin Jr. Mother of Margaret C. Olivier (Elmer) and the late Theresa C. Verdin. Daughter of the late Albert and Ada Rowden. Sister of James A. Rowden and the late Lois R. McDonald and Phyllis R. Hicks. Grandmother of Brittany Jimenez, Christina Verdin, Jessica Weese, John Olivier and Elizabeth Olivier. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. She was a native of Oakland, California and a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 57 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am. Interment, Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Eutaw, Alabama.
