Ethel Madere Lomonaco

Ethel (Madere) Lomonaco passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 101. She was born in Lucy, Louisiana on January 22, 1922.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vito Paul Lomonaco, and her son, Vito Paul Lomonaco II.  She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Fraase, (Clifford) of Spring Branch, Texas, and daughter-in-law, Gwen Lomonaco of Covington, Louisiana.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brian Lomonaco, Keith Fraase (Alanna), Sean Lomonaco (Christine), and Kristi Pepper (Ryan); as well as four great grandchildren, Ashton Pepper, Kylie Pepper, Adeline Fraase, and Leo Fraase.

The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Erica Sampson of Simpsonville, South Carolina for the care and compassion she gave to Ethel during the last several years of her life. 

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11:30AM until 1:30PM.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM.  Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
