Ethelwaldo De Jesus, lovingly known as Pechelo, Waldo, Esthewal or Tete, was born in the Dominican Republic on April 12, 1969, and sadly departed from this world on June 8, 2024, in Louisiana, USA. He was a man of great character, kind and thoughtful, who touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Ethelwaldo, son of Lucila Santana and the late Alejandro De Jesus Carrasco, cherished his family above all else. His greatest accomplishments were his beloved children Michelle, Michael, Paloma, and his youngest, Matthew. He left behind 2 grandchildren, Sebastian and Fabian Mollenthiel. Pechelo will be truly missed by his Mother Lucila, his stepfather Dionicio Santana, and his siblings Waldetrudis, David, and Angel, as well as Alejandro, Milciades, Julio, Osvaldo, Luis, Alejandra, Arleny y Nelfa. He was a loving father, husband, son-in-law, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and always expressed his love for his family.
In remembrance of Ethelwaldo's life, a visitation will be held at Harvey-Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC in Harvey, Louisiana, on June 19, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM, and a funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM.
Ethelwaldo De Jesus will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him

Ethelwaldo De Jesús, conocido cariñosamente como Pechelo, Waldo Esthewal o Tete, nació el 12 de Abril de 1969 en República Dominicana y tristemente partió de este mundo el 8 de Junio de 2024 en Luisiana, Estados Unidos. Fue un hombre de gran carácter, amable y atento, que tocó el corazón de todos los que lo conocieron.
Ethelwaldo, hijo de Lucila Santana y el difunto Alejandro De Jesus Carrasco, apreciaba a su familia por encima de todo. Sus mayores logros fueron sus amados hijos Michelle, Michael, Paloma y su hijo menor Matthew. Dejo dos nietos, Sebastian y Fabian Mollenthiel. Su madre, Lucila, su padrastro Dionicio Santana y hermanos Waldetrudis, David y Angel extrañaran mucho a Pechelo, al igual que sus hermanos Alejandro, Milciades, Julio, Osvaldo, Luis, Alejandra, Arleny y Nelfa. Fue un padre, esposo, abuelo, hijo, hermano, nuero, cuñado, tio, primo amoroso y siempre expreso el amor por su familia.
En recuerdo de la vida de Ethelwaldo, se llevará a cabo un velorio en Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC en Harvey, Louisiana, el 19 de Junio de 2024, a partir de las 11:00 a.m., y seguirá un funeral a la 1:30p.m.
