Ethelynne Short Morton passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late John J. Morton Sr. Mother of May McMahon (Jimmy), Michael P. Morton (Joy) and the late John J. "Johnny Boy" Morton, Jr., Daughter of the late May Munsterman Short and Marion F. Short. Sister of Marion "Shackle" R. Short. Grandmother of Renda M. Morton, James M. McMahon, May M. McMahon and Charlotte L. Morton. She was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton St. Algiers, LA. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until 11am. Interment, Metairie Cemetery.
