Eugene Phillip Parker

Eugene Phillip Parker passed away on December 22, 2015 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Marie Hilda Pellegrin Parker. Son of the late Frank Parker and Mary Donovan Parker. ,Father of Iris Parker and the late Gerald Parker. Step-father of John A. Epperson. Brother of Charles Parker (Joan), and the late George, Frank, and Bobby Parker, Irene Clements, Gloria Clements, and Mable Benefield. Grandfather of four, great-grandfather of six, and great-great-grandfather of four. A native of Camden, NJ and resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 40 years. He was a Veteran in the United States Marine Corps for seven years, served and injured in Korea, and received numerous honors and awards including the United Nations Medal of Honor. He worked for many years with Lykes Bros.Steam Ship Co. He will be deeply missed by all.
