Eugene Albert Vegas

Eugene Albert Vegas, Passed away on Saturday Feburary 7th 2015, at the age of 76. Eugene is survived by his wife Nancy F. Vegas. Son of the late Eva Rawle Vegas and Eugene J. Vegas. Lovingly raised by the late Margaret Rawle Keller and Robert M. Keller. Survived by his siblings, Beryl Whitney, Lorraine Peterson, Carroll Vegas, and the late Cynthia Vegas and Merlin Vegas. Loving father of Greg Vegas (Rhonda), Henry Schiro (Anita), Paula Watson (the late, Jack), Rachel Gervaise (Chad), Angelique Kelly (Jamie), Macy Billiot (Roland). Grandfather of ten, and Great-Grandfather of nine. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Vegas is a former employee if Brown and Root, and Acme Truck Lines. He also served our Country in the United State Navy and was a graduate of West Jeff High School. Services will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy. Harvey LA, 70058 on Thursday, Feburary 12th 2015. Visitation begins at 9am followed by an 11am Mass. Interment will be at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
