Eula Dufrene Plaisance

Eula Dufrene Plaisance went peacefully to her Jesus on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the age of 94 years. She was a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Beloved wife of the late Herbert P. Plaisance. She was preceded in death by two children, Peggy P. Borchers Griffin, and Berthran P. Plaisance Sr. (Brenda) , one grandchild, Kyle A. Plaisance, Sr., by her parents, Sylvester and Laticia Dufrene, five brothers, Clarence, Lawrence,Nacy, Norrie and Milton Dufrene, and five sisters, Lorita Sampey, Enzy Fonseca, Eunice Orgeron, Vernus Dufrene and Leota Bye. She is survived by her other four children, Kathy P. Parfait (Charles), Bonnie P. Gambino (Anthony "Red"), Darwin J. Plaisance (Angela), Patty P. Daunie Cunningham (Eddie). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Glenn, Kiley, Dana, Karen, Lil Bert, Darnell, Melonie, Lil Wilson, Kelly, Angelica (Angie), Sharie, Lil Charles, Laticia, Anthony (Buzz), Angel, and Lil Darwin; 27 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Bridge City, LA on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 10pm and again on Thursday morning from 9am until 12:30pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
