Eusebe "Gus" Gaspard

Eusebe "Gus" Gaspard went into eternal rest on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Thelma Chiasson Gaspard. Father of Melton "Mel" Gaspard, Sr. (Evelyn), Margaret Gaspard Dubois (Russell), Runnell Gaspard (Elaine), Garland Gaspard (Barbara), Jennifer Gaspard Majewski (Jon), and Monique "Nickie" Gaspard Schmidt (John, Sr.). Son of the late Augustine and Marie Gaspard. Also survived by two sisters, Enola Gaspard Guidry and Elma Gaspard Terrebonne. Grandfather of Melton, Jr., Tina, Rochelle, Brent, Purnell, Christina, Keith, Jr., Chad, John, Jr., and Joshua. Great Grandfather of Olivia, Jack, Kevin, Jr., Justin, Dylan, Devin, Layne, Taylor, Sophia, Madisyn, Isabella and the late Camden. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A native of Golden Meadow, LA. and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 54 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Jefferson Parish Council on Aging, WJMC volunteers, and employees of LP&L are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11am. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9am until 11am.
