Evans “E.J.” Williams, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Marrero, LA. at the age of 57. E.J. was a native of Buras, LA and was raised in Lafitte, LA. Beloved son of Evans Williams, Sr. and the late Mollie Autin Williams. Brother of Kenneth Mareno, Austin Williams, Nora Clouder, Audrey Rouse, Arsene Williams, Tony Williams, Belinda Williams, Lloyd Gioe, Camillia Williams and the late Katherine Mareno, Evelyn Williams, and Norma Odom. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Parlors will be open from 9:00 am until funeral time. Interment Mt. Zion Memorial Park, Empire, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
