Evelyn Pennison Chauvin, age 83, born August 20, 1927, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011. She was born in Patterson, LA; former resident of Boothville, LA; currently resided in Belle Chasse, LA for the past 42 years. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Chauvin for 62 years. Mother of Deborah Anglada, Yvette Chauvin and Tammy Coon. Mother-in-law of Douglas Coon and the late Al Anglada. Grandmother of Aimee’ Bossier, Heather Anglada Williams, Laurene’ Bossier, Davide Coon, Tayler Coon and the late Kyra Coon. Grandmother-in-law of Eddie Williams, Douglas Williams, and Amber Coon. Great-Grandmother of Brady and Riley Williams, Kaitlynn and Camryn Williams, Harvey Torres and Derek Coon. Sister of Gertrude “Dude” Leet and the late Johnnie Pennison, Jr. Daughter of the late Irma Landry Stockfleth and Johnnie Pennison, Sr. Evelyn was a member of the AARP 4034 and a member of the Riverbend Senior Center in Belle Chasse, LA. She was a devoted homemaker, seamstress, wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 9AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church on Monday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse.
