Evelyn Dora Celius Clayton "Lil Momma"

Evelyn Dora Celius Clayton “Lil Momma” went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 89 on Friday, November 30, 2012. She was born on April 14, 1923 to Eva Anderson Celius Lamb and Charles M. Celius, Sr. A native of New Orleans, she was a homemaker and a member of Amazion Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, August Clayton; parents, Eva “Big Momma” and Charles Celius, Sr.; step father, Emmett Lamb; sister, Ardricher Johnson; brothers, Charles,Jr. and Gilbert Celius; children, Mary Ann Major and Ronnie Clayton; grand daughters, Carol Major and Lanna Harvey; two sons-in-law, Wallace Morris and Orbin Washington. She leaves to cherish her memories, six children, Robert A. Dennis, Emelda Lightell, Lorraine Harvey, Samuel Clayton, Melvin Clayton, Annette Washington; 2 sons-in-law, Jerry Harvey and Irvin Lightell;11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 9AM until 1PM.
