Evida Schultz Alexie, a resident of Lafitte, LA peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 8, 2016 the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Martin R. Alexie. Daughter of the late Herbert Schultz, Sr. and Claudia Creppel Schultz. Step Daughter of the late Elta Thiel Schultz. Loving and devoted mother of Larry Alexie, Sr., Kathy Helmer, Corkey Alexie, Sr., Claudia Helmer, Marty Alexie and Joy Sapia Alexie. Survived by 38 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Sister of Lilly Gisclair, Mary Ann Encalade, Diane Breaux and the late Herbert Schultz, Jr. Sister-in-law of Sarah Schultz. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Crown Point, LA on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Crown Point, LA on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in St. Pius X Mausoleum, Crown Point, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
