Faith Marie Gaudet

Faith Gaudet, a native of Boothville La. and owner of Adams Grocery, was called home on September 8, 2023 at 11:36 a.m. At the age of 60, she passed away peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by family.

Fay was the youngest of nine children. At an early age, she fell in love and married the late Ricky Gaudet Sr. The following year, she gave birth to the couple’s first child, Lil Rick. Three years later, the couple welcomed their second child, Corey.  At the age of 37, her life was forever changed when she tragically lost her husband, just weeks after laying her mother to rest. She picked up the pieces and moved forward the best that she could. She would eventually enter a companionship with Benjie that lasted until her final breath.

 Fay spent her final 18 months with her 2 boys. Fay and Lil Rick became roommates when they moved into the home right next-door to Corey and Kristal. The fence was removed from between the two homes and they lived as one. She loved the simple things in life. She loved watching the Saints play. She loved sitting in her recliner with her dog Sweetie. She loved to laugh. She loved to smile. She loved her family more than anything in this world. Fay was a bundle of Joy.

 Faith is survived by her children Ricky Gaudet Jr. And Corey Gaudet (Kristal Gaudet), her companion Benjie Loga, her Grandchildren Brooklyn Fournier (Jacob Fournier), Drake Gaudet, Mathew Gaudet, Dakota Gaudet, Peyton Gaudet, her Great-Grandchild Emery Fournier; her siblings Dot Arceneaux, Harold Adams Sr. (Nora Adams- nanny), Lolita Howell, Helen Sunday and Peggy Lee, She is predeceased by her husband Ricky Gaudet Sr. , her parents, Alcide and Delphine Adams. Her siblings Alcide Adams Jr. , Doris Doss, and Grace Hanks . Her father-in-law Raymond Gaudet

Visitation will be held on Thursday September 14^th 9:00 a.m. at Mothe’s Funeral Home 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey.  Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by bringing her to her final resting place at Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery in Buras, La.
