Fannie Tanner Patton Welch

Fannie Tanner Patton Welch died at home on January 20, 2013. She was 91. Fannie is preceded in death by her parents, William Sidney Patton and Annie Mae Duke Patton, her brother William Patton and sister Margaret Jennings. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Oswald Hinson Welch, her brother, James Patton, her four children, David Hinson Welch, Richard Tanner Welch, Lisa Welch Myers, and Henry Robert Welch, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Fannie was an active member of First Baptist Church of Gretna where she taught Sunday School, served as leader of the Women's Missionary Union and was principal of Vacation Bible School for 50 years.
Private graveside services will be held at Westlawn Cemetery.
