Fay A. Ivey, age 73 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Beloved wife of Ralph E. Ivey for 47 years. Daughter of the late Peter Alesich and Laura Williams Alesich. Mother of Joseph A. Peterson (Shelley), Beverly Peterson-Ballay (Michael), Theresa Peterson and Gina E. Ivey. Grandmother of Haley Peterson, Cody Peterson (Michelle), John Michael Ragas (Heather), Tamara Davis (Kornell), Peter Brou, Tyler Chauvin, Rae Chauvin, Alexis Arnona and Ashley Arnona. She is survived by 6 great grandchildren. Sister of Darlene Ferdinandtsen (Sammy) and the late Beverly Jane Alesich. Fay was a lifetime member of Buras Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies Altar Society at Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Church. She was a lifelong resident of Buras, LA. A Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mausoleum, Belle Chasse, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements.
