Faye Rae Ann Carmadelle Guidry

Faye Rae Ann Carmadelle Guidry was born on August 8, 1939 and passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 5, 2024. 

Preceded in death by the love of her life, Clarence R. Guidry Sr.; parents, Raymond and Mercedes Rodrigue Carmadelle; and brothers, Larry Carmadelle Sr. and Brad Carmadelle.

Survived by her sister, Sharon C. Collins; children, Clarence “Rosco” Guidry Jr. (Jeanine), Vickie Lynn G. Breaux (Wayne), Denise G. Touchet (Randy), and Wyatt Guidry (Stacy).

Affectionately known as “Granny Faye” to her grandchildren, Brian Jr. and Brandon Alexie (Danielle), Shandy Guidry (Bart), Lauren D. Hidalgo (Dave), Alex DiMarco Jr. (Sheree), Casie Breaux, Torylynn F. Greig (Jake), Sidney Fabre Jr. (Taren), and Myra F. Cancienne (Christian); great-grandchildren, Justin Alexie (Brooke), Kayla, Emma, and Mason Alexie, Billy Smith, her “little boy” Ian Adams, Kade, Kyle, and Kloe Hidalgo, Lorelai and Barrett DiMarco, and Lucie Breaux, Amelia and Zachary Greig, Adelaide, Abigail and Sidney Fabre, Angel, Christian, Catherine, Chloe, and Dominic Cancienne. Nanny to Adrian Arabie Sr. and Robin R. Molinario and “Aunt Faye” to many nieces and nephews. 

She loved going to the casino with her best friend, Brenda Adam. 

The family would also like to give special thanks to Jeanine Guidry for going above and beyond and her amazing loving care for our mom.

A visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2653 Jean Lafitte Boulevard, Lafitte, LA on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment St. Pius X Mausoleum in Crown Point, LA.
