Felix "Brother" Dufrene,, Jr.

May 10, 1945 — April 27, 2016

Felix “Brother” Dufrene Jr, a native of Lafitte, La, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 46 years to Ruby Ranches Dufrene. Loving Daddy to Aaron (Tina) Dufrene and Tina Dufrene (Jason). Proud Paw Paw of Brayde, Dylan, Tommy, Blayde, Jayson, Monica, Rachel and Eddie. He is also blessed with many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his (mother) Cornelia Touchard Dufrene, (father) Felix Dufrene, Sr and (brother) Daniel Dufrene. He is also survived by his sister Verna (Dominic) Ditcharo, (brother in law) Danny (Sandra) Ranches and a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a Crewboat Captain for most of his life, where, besides time spent with his family, he was at his happiest. He had a great love for his boating life and known to his boating family as “Pal” he missed being on the water with them dearly. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 5 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 5, 2016 for 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
