Felix “Brother” T. Favaloro, Jr., beloved husband to Geraldine Staub Favaloro, passed away peacefully, in his recliner surrounded by his children, in his home on Friday, March 28, 2025  in Lafitte, Louisiana at the age of 92.

He is the son of the late Felix T. Favaloro, Sr. and Leona Charpentier Favaloro. He is the brother of Thomas J. Favaloro (Catherine), the late Camille Favaloro Hatty (Joseph), and the late Joseph D. Felix “Brother” was born on March 4, 1933 in Lafitte, Louisiana. He loved to fish, hunt, play golf and pedro, tell stories, and spend time with his family and friends. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Council and served his church parish devoutly. He was also a member of The Lafitte Yacht Club. Felix had a true and strong devotion to his Catholic faith. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps. After serving his country, he was a school coach, teacher, counselor, and principal at Fisher High School. He loved working with the family business (The Fleming Canal Store). Felix loved his home and community on the Bayou and cherished Lafitte with all his heart. Felix raised his family in faith, love, strength, and compassion. He was a pure soul and a truly remarkable God fearing man. We would like to give our “guardian angel” Melinda Harlow a special thanks for taking care of both Geraldine and Felix Favaloro on their Heavenly Birthdays. You have been a God send.
