Florence Thompson Landry

Florence Thompson Landry passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Wife of the late Forrest R. Landry. Mother of Brenda L. Lucas (the late Joey). Daughter of the late Jules and Theresa Boudreaux Thompson. Sister of the late Beulah L. Thompson and her late twin brother, Lawrence Thompson. Grandmother of Derrick A. Lucas (Jean) and Paul M. Lucas (Alison). Great Grandmother of Ethan, Ally, Layla and Ella Lucas, Caroline Hill and Ellen and Katie Howell. She will also be missed by her feline companion, Gracie. Florence was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA and Harvey, LA. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Staff of Canon Hospice and West Jefferson Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
