Florence “Flo Baby” Janet Tranchina Rulh departed peacefully in New Orleans on 6 June 2024 after 92 Solar Orbits. She arrived on earth 17 April 1932 in New Orleans. Flo Baby was THE backbone of Blue Marine Transportation, as well as many other companies across the Gulf Coast. She was simultaneously the toughest and most loving, lovely lady; She was preceded in death by her parents Philip Tranchina and Florence Kelly, her husband Francis Emile Rulh, and her brothers Philip “Mickey” and Little Doug.
She is survived by many loved ones, to name a few: brother/son Douglas Raymond “Dougie” (preceded by spouse “Cathy”), brother/son Richard “Ricky” and spouse “Peggy” , son Donald “Big Donald” and spouse Susan, daughter Donna Marie, son Frank Edward “Frankie” and spouse Julie.
Loved most by all her Grandchildren; Ben, Phil, Mary, Chris, Kelli, Scott, Donald “Lil Donald”, Donielle, Elizabeth “Lizzy”, Amelia, Jennifer, Kimberly, Don, Garret, Frank “Dustin”, Jordan, Ashleigh, Mikayla, Jessi.
Flo was adored by 35 great grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, in laws & others. We all owe our existence to Flo Baby.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 11 AM until 1 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel.
