Floris R. Covell

Floris R. Covell entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the age of 88. Beloved daughter of the late James Martin Covell and Jennie “Eugenie” LeGendre Covell. Sister of the late Jennie L. Covell, Thomas Ann Covell Crane, Pearl L. Covell, James J. Covell and Thomas L. Covell. Floris was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. She worked as an Accounting Clerk for Shell Oil Company until her retirement. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 500 Verret Street, Algiers, LA on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 12 Noon until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church on Friday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Algiers, LA.
