Francene Hines Zakkour passed away September 13, 2017. Beloved wife of Daniel M. Zakkour for 44 years. Mother of Rita Kay Phillips (Bob), Darcee Michele Cacibauda (John Jr.), Wayne Kay (Karen), André Zakkour (Becky), and Zakia Koenig (Cory Sr.). Grandmother of Greg Blanchard (Amanda), Anthony Phillips (Jean), Malerie Cacibauda, Alicia Cacibauda Christians (Shannon), Tiffany Meyer (Myron), Patricia Kay, Brendan Zakkour, Abigale Zakkour, Cory Koenig, Jr., and Connor Koenig. Great grandmother of seven. Daughter of the late Oleane Coleman Chambers and Roy O. Hines. Sister of Royce Hines (Annie), Tanya Patteson, Kyla Hines, Kay Hines, and the late Gary Hines (Muriel). Age 75 years and lifelong resident of Belle Chasse, LA. Francene was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church having served as past president of the Altar Society and longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Red Hat Society. She will be deeply missed and remembered as a 'professional mother,' always stylish, a talented artist, and very loving and caring nature.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9 AM until Funeral Mass time at 12 Noon. The rosary will be held at 9 AM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mausoleum, Belle Chasse, LA.
