Frances Darlene Mellor

Frances Darlene W. Mellor left for her heavenly home on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the age of 63 years. She follows her beloved best friend, soulmate and spouse, Arthur "Art" Mellor, Jr. Mother of Robert "Robbie" Mundell and step-mother of Laura Mellor. Daughter of Nelli Jean Huggins Waldrop and the late Roy Waldrop. Sister of Sheryl Lemon, Katy Cantrell, Susan Bonneau, James Bonneau, Tyrone McMiller and the late Laurie Bonneau. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She graduated from nursing school in 1976 and dedicated her life to taking care of others. She traveled to England, Scotland and Alaska with her husband, Art, with whom she had 22 wonderful years. A native of Shreveport, LA and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 2pm until 4pm.
