Francis C. Gainey

Francis C. Gainey peacefully went home into the arms of Jesus on October 27, 2016 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of 50 years to Deanna Bush Gainey. Loving father of Angela Grundmeyer (Wade) and Angelle Gainey (Corey Skipper). Grandfather of Coldin, Addison and Avery. Brother of Russell, Johnny and Lloyd Gainey, the late Helen Fremin, Lily Ester Mack, Joseph Roy and Calvin Gainey. Son of the late Melodie Schaubhut Gainey and John O. Gainey. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
After fighting the good fight, he has taken hold of the Eternal Life to which he was called. The battle is won! The victory is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Belle Chasse, LA.
