Father of Francis “Doo” Jr., Charles Mathew “Boogie”, Frankie Joseph, Raquel Lynn, Johnny Francis Gerrets and Jeremy Norman. Son of the late Charles and Shirley Gerrets. Brother of Charlene, Nellie and Patricia Gerrets, Michael, Albert “Jerry” Gerrets, the late Deborah Wellman. Half Brother of Hellen Ferrera, Charles, Leonard and Melvin Gerrets. Survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Age 59 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment, St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Algiers, LA. Parlors will be open Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 6 PM until 10 PM and again Wednesday May 4, 2011 from 8 AM until 11 AM.
