Francis E. “Klip” Klipping peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Robin Wolf Klipping. Son of the late Alvin Klipping and Elvera Bergen Klipping. Loving father of Shannon “Chip” Klipping (Kim), Dawn Klipping Osburn (David), Kristopher Klipping (Gayle) and Danielle H. Comeaux (Wade). Beloved grandfather of Parker and Spencer Osburn, Kade and Reeves Klipping, Courtney, Taylor “BeeBop”, Hunter Comeaux and the late Matthew Comeaux. Great Grandfather of Nathan Nichol and Presley Rae Comeaux. Also survived by 4 Sisters and 1 Brother. Klip was born in Forest City, Iowa and was a resident of Mandeville, LA for over 25 years. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Klip was an avid sports fan especially for the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing and spending quality time with family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
