Frank Marion Buck, Sr. 91 years of age. His Sunrise was on 1-20-1933 and Sunset was on 7-29-1924. He was a resident of Abbeville, La and a native of Charenton, La.

Frank was a man with an extensive work history to support his large family. Throughout his life, he maintained a history that always had him in the maritime field. He started his career as a young man learning the shrimping and fishing trade. After serving his time in the U S ARMY, upon his discharge he went on to earn his licenses as a tugboat operator and later an owner of a small fleet of tugs. Thru his son Frank M Buck, Jr., he was installed into that position and held it until his retirement at the age of 79.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Patterson, La., St. Bernadette Church in Bayou Vista, La. And St. Joachim Church in Marrero, La. He was an American Legion member from 1963 until his death.
