Frank Ruiz, Sr. of Algiers, La passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Bourgeois. Father of Frank Ruiz, Jr. and Mary Alice Ruiz (Randy Fernandez). Son of the late Josephine Arnona Ruiz and Joseph M Ruiz. Brother of the late Joseph, Felix, Henry and Walter Ruiz, Louise Murley and Pauline Bourgeois. Grandfather of Jennifer, Jacquelyn, Krystina, Krystal, Amber and Hanna. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Frank was a veteran of the U. S. Army, a member of American Legion Post 218, and was retired from the New Orleans Parish School Board. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend Funeral Services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
