Freda Sita Hughes

Freda Sita Hughes passed away on August 22, 2012 at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of 49 years to James J. Hughes, Jr. Mother of Norma Hughes Baker (Johnny Baker, Jr.) and James J. Hughes, III (Stacy Broussard). Grandmother of Ashley Lynn Michel, Brooke Margaret Ann Baker, Jamie Lynn Hughes and Abbygaile Elizabeth Hughes. Daughter of the late Norma Brewer Sita and John J. Sita. Daugher-in-law of Inez Fererro Hughes and the late James J. Hughes, Sr. Sister of Josephine S. Leathem (the late Edward J. Leathem) and Paul J. Sita (Terry Sita). Sister-in-law of Patricia Hughes Sweeney (the late Michael Sweeney). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, resided in Luling, LA and retired from Cytec Industries in Waggaman, LA.
