Frederick Charles Ruppert, Sr., retired member of New Orleans Fire Department, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 67 years to Audrey Chauff Ruppert. Father of Beverley Ruppert Bodenheimer (Jerry), Carolyn Ruppert Dennis (Dave) and Gregory Charles Ruppert (Cathy). Brother of Charles Ruppert. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lena Ruppert and his son Frederick Charles (Butsy) Ruppert, Jr. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3610 Claire Ave. , Gretna, LA on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 12PM. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:30AM until funeral time at church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers masses are preferred.
