Frederick "Fred" Young

Frederick S. “Fred” Young, son of the late Sophia and Stanley Young and brother of the late Bob Young, passed away on January 4, 2012 at the age of 87 years. A World War II veteran of the China-Burma-India Theater, he remained active in Veterans groups. Mr. Young was the beloved husband of Aloha Fox Young by second marriage and of the late Marjorie Young. He is survived by son F. Steve Young (Joanne) and grandchildren Kristin and Barrett plus great-grandchildren Jonah, Olivia and Zachary of Georgia and son Tracy R. Young (Beth) and granddaughter Ayron of Virginia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 3643 Aurora Drive, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
