Frieda Dufour Tassin

Frieda Mae Dufour Tassin passed away March 26, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Eugene A. Tassin, Sr. Daughter of the late Ashton J. Dufour and Mayven Couvillion Dufour. Sister of Barbara D. Lemoine and the late Ella Jeanette D. Viola. Mother of Eugene A. Tassin, Jr., Patrick J. Tassin (Ardy), and Sharon A. Schneider (David "Cat"). Grandmother of Larry J. Carter, Samantha A. Carter, and Kristin T. Parker (William). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Age 82 years, a native of Bordelonville, LA and resident of Harvey, LA. She retired from McDonald's Restaurants after 20 years as a Store Activities Representative. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed sewing, and loved animals, especially her cats. She will be dearly missed by all. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 AM.
