Gail Rose Fayard

Gail Rose Fayard entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 4, 2024, at the age of 78.

Daughter of the late John Irvin Fayard and Rose Marquize Fayard. Sister of Lydia Fayard Beverung (Warren) and the late Ruth Fayard Ishee (Charlie). Loving aunt to Chip Beverung (Rachel), Brandy Beverung, Charles “Scott” Ishee (Liz), Bryan Ishee (Diana) and the late Jennifer Ishee. Great aunt of Tiffani Lopiccolo (Joe), Paul Petitto (Katie), Gabrielle Ishee, Miles Frye, Max Frye, Lily Beverung, Lila Roberts, Luke Beverung, Gavin Ishee and great-great aunt to Castin “Cassi” Lopiccolo. She is also survived by her dear friends, the Logrande and Baldassaro families.

Gail was a native of Arabi, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. She was a former teacher and assistant principal at P.G.T. Beauregard High School. She enjoyed playing Bridge at the Bridge Center in Metairie. Gail loved to laugh and always had a joke to tell. 

The celebration of her life will be on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Rd. Terrytown, LA. It will begin with a visitation starting at 10am, followed by a Mass at 11am and then a Memorial Gathering immediately following the Mass until 2:00pm in the Knight of Columbus building next to the church. Interment will be private.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tulane Medical Center to support Diabetes Research. Choose other and specify diabetes to ensure the funds are directed accordingly.
