Gary Wayne "Gabby" Ashpole

Gary Wayne “Gabby” Ashpole found peace in Heaven on Friday, November 18, 2011. For the past 28 years, has been the beloved husband of Elise Plaisance Blair Ashpole. Gary was born on June 18, 1936 to his late parents, Ben and Clara Ashpole. He is survived by his four children: David Ashpole (Karen) of Montana, Dan Ashpole (Donna) of Oklahoma, Debbie Rask (Bernie) of Oregon and Diana Sanders (Jerrol) of Oklahoma and his stepchildren: Terrie Fell (Henry), Wayne Blair (Jacqueline), Jack Blair (Sheila), the late Curtis Blair of Oklahoma, Phillip Blair of California and Nancy Blair (Stefan) of Georgia. Gary was adored by twenty-three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Gary was employed by Brown and Root for fifteen years before retiring in 1998. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
