Gary P. “Pooldoo” Dufrene, age 68 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 3, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. He is the son of the late Norman and Jeanne Dufrene. Brother of Geraldine Gros and the late Norris Dufrene. Beloved and loving husband and best friend of Kathleen Dufrene for 38 years. Loving father of Jackie Dufrene (Eddie) and Jody Dufrene (Tammy). Beloved step father of Dana Talkington (Bobby), Paul Olano, Judy Rourk, Jay Burlet, Joan Burlet and Jimmy Burlet. Treasured Grandfather of Brandy, Paul IV, Kayla, Kourtney, Yolanda, Jody and Joshua. Amazing Great Grandfather of Conner, Brooklyn, Paul V and Savannah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends, also employees of Whitney Bank, United Vision and Dr. Trujillo are invited to attend the visitation at St. Cletus Catholic Church, Claire Avenue, Gretna, LA on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements. We love and miss you very much. You will forever be in our hearts!!!!
