Gary Alan Klegin Sr.

Gary Alan Klegin Sr. passed away on August 21, 2016 at the age of 58 years. Survivors include his children, Kelly Dressner and Gary A. Klegin Jr.; grandchildren, Savannah, Dylan, Shelby and Scarlett; brothers, Fred Klegin Jr. and David Klegin (Melissa); his beloved mother, Velma LaVerne Jones Klegin; sisters, Deanna Matteson (Frank) and his twin, Sherri Larson; the love of his life, Julie Hamberger; step-children, Jared Verdin and Bethany Verdin; his former wife, Heather Klegin his canine companions, Jeter and Drew along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fred E. Klegin Sr.
Gary was employed by Crescent Energy Services and enjoyed his work. He was an avid New York Yankee fan and cheered them along with his beloved Julie. He also enjoyed country music, football of any kind and loved to spend time with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at Floozies/Calahan’s Bar. Gary was a caring man with a huge heart that never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Services will follow.
