Gary Joseph Sullivan passed away on March 17, 2015. Beloved father of Amanda Sullivan (John Owen, fiance) and Bradley Sullivan. Son of the late Marilyn Salathe Sullivan and Warren Sullivan. Brother of Dickie (Kathy), Jeff (Connie), Tommy (Melissa), and Randy Sullivan (Gwen), and the late Stevie Sullivan (Jody). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 54 years and a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Gary was an electrician by trade, licensed in several local parishes. He was the owner of Scooter Consulting, Inc., Scooter Promotions, and G Electrical, and a very skilled project manager of offshore oil projects for many major oil companies. He was known for his love of people, music, and his country. He passionately rode Harley Davidson motorcycles and actively participated in local Harley events and organizations. He was one of the proud founders of Steel Pony Express and the Louisiana Bike Expo. He lived by the words "Live to Ride, Ride to Live," and truly loved his daughter Amanda more than anything in this world.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM and Tuesday morning from 8 AM until 11 AM.
