Geneva Breaux Gegenheimer passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 65 years to Reuben John Gegenheimer. Daughter of the late Clifford P. Breaux, Sr. and Edith Ramagos Breaux. Loving mother of Reuben John Gegenheimer (Wife Jovonna), William F. Gegenheimer (Wife Debra) and Edith G. Hanks (Husband Raymond). Sister of the late Clifford P. Breaux, Jr. (Wife Jerrie) and Joyce B. Mole (Husband Buddy). Survived by 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Expected Grandchild. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Geneva was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Gretna, LA. She was secretary for Jefferson Parish Government Offices for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in McDonogh Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
