Son of Dolly Daigle Schaeffer and the late George “Lance” Schaeffer, Sr. Loving father of George Launcelot “Lance” Schaeffer III. Brother of Guiwin L. Schaeffer and Gwynne S. Carrier (J.J. Becker). Uncle of Floyd “Joey" Carrier III and Shanna G. Carrier. George was born in Buras, LA and resided in Baton Rouge, LA. A Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 6PM until 10PM. Graveside Services will be held at Schaeffer Family Cemetery, Schaeffer Loup, Florien, LA on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2PM.
