George Andrew Burnetz, Sr. passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Loyce Plaisance Burnetz. Father of George Burnetz, Jr. (Denise), Lisa B. DiPascal (David) and the late Bernadine Williams (Steve). Son of the late Mildred Campbell Burnetz and George Burnetz. Brother of Richard Burnetz. Grandfather of Meachelle Felps Darley, Rocky Felps, Sr., George Burnetz, III, Casey J. Burnetz and Harley DiPascal. Great grandfather of Rocky Jr., Logan, Sophia and Dalton. Future grandfather of Wyatt. Mr. George was a Coach at Mel Ott Park for over 25 years and a member of the David Crockett Fire Department. A native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 55 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 am.
