George Eugene Dotson, age 64 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Beloved and devoted husband of 31 years to Susan Lashley Dotson. Loving father of Kellie E. Haney (Richard) and Donald J. Dotson. Loving grandfather of Devon S. Haney and Taevin L. Haney. Son of the late Donald E. Dotson and Johnnie B. Clark Dotson. Brother of Bill Dotson and Paul Dotson. Son-in-law of Dr. and Mrs. James Lashey. Brother-in-law of Don Lashley (Mary), Teri Lashley- Sanger (Dave) and Charlotte L. Soto (Jimmy). Uncle to Gabriel, Tiffany, Christie, Sierra and Ashley. The family is requesting no flowers; however, donations may be made to Spc., Matthew W. Comeaux Peer Support and Mentoring Program, 46212 Patti Road, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 in memory of George. Family and friends, also employees of Petrotech, Inc., Taylor Diving and Dorsey & Company are invited to attend a memorial visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 9AM until 12PM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
