George J. "Buddy" Thibodeaux

George "Buddy" Joseph Thibodeaux passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the age of 81. George is predeceased by his parents, Stanley Thibodeaux of Vacherie, LA, his mother, Hazel Josephine Belsome of Barataria, LA, brother Stanley Thibodeaux, sister Georgiana Fields, and brother Mike Hardee.
George is survived by his loving wife Francisca Becker Thibodeaux of 49 years. They were married in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on July 3, 1967.
George is lovingly remembered by his daughter Lisa Thibodeaux Dugas and son-in-law Cameron T. Dugas Jr., grandsons Brett Joseph Dugas and Cameron Thomas Dugas III, brother Ike Hardee, sisters Loretta LeBlanc and Bertha Raines.
George was born in Barataria, Louisiana on April 24, 1934. He graduated from Belle Chasse High School and went on to work at Van Electric for 25 years and Home Depot after he retired. George was an avid Saint’s fan and loved to tell jokes. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM.
