George A. Rocha

George A. Rocha passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 52 years to Jacqueline Chaisson Rocha. Father of Scott Rocha (Tracy Lovell-Rocha), Jason Rocha (Courtney), and Alexandra Bergens. Grandfather of Jordan Lovell and Blaine Rocha. Brother of Jacinto Rocha Jr., Michael Rocha, Marina Green, Freda Lacayo, Wanda Ruiz and the late Elvira Fuentes. Son of the late Jacinto Rocha and Petra Longoria Rocha. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends along with his Expressway Collision Center family.

George was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Bay City, Texas. He later moved to Gretna, Louisiana and worked as a skilled and talented car repair and collision technician. He worked for many years with Expressway Collision Center and was well known in the repair industry. His interests followed football, fishing, cooking, seafood boils, and his signature menudo. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. He will be sadly missed.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA.
