George F. Smallwood

George F. Smallwood passed away on July 11, 2013 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Joyce Saladino Smallwood. Son of the late Jimmy Lee Smallwood, Sr. and Thelma Louise Willingham Smallwood. Brother of the late Jimmy Lee Smallwood, Jr. and Jacqueline Gaylor. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and was loved and will be missed by the Smallwood and Saladino families. He retired from Avondale Shipyards and was a member of the Army Reserve.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ).
